PERF X BRANDING
When Jones & Vining developed a new manufacturing process for a footbed promising superior fit, comfort and performance, they knew they also needed a brand identity that would catch the attention of the market.

The first round of logo concepts without restriction is the fun stuff! Although I hit on the cut-away line running through the letters early on, I still needed to do the exploration.
After multiple rounds of revisions, we landed on the perfect Perf X logo. They also needed a variation for use with a hangtag, so I explored locking up in the very recognizable footbed holding shape.
Exploring the potential of marketing Perf X at retail (now under the name Perf X Pro), concept packaging was designed in both closed and open structures.
Additional merchandising concepts created to show how Perf X Pro could be seen at retail. Shelf tray and free-standing floor displays to provide multiple display options for retailers.
